Teri has been involved in various facets of business
for more than two decades, dedicating her talents to marketing and the
internet for more than 10 years. In 2000, she left the corporate world to start her own company, Web Weaver Marketing,
Inc. (The Tenth Muse, Inc.) to help business more effectively market
their products and services on the Internet.
She is also co-owner of Big Tree Pedicab Management, LLC and Director of Business Development for Mile High Pedicabs, LLC.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from
the University of Colorado at Boulder. This gives her a particular understanding
of consumer behavior and cognition (why people do what they do), which
she applies to the engineering, design and navigation of web sites as
well as the development of e-marketing and other materials.
Her expertise includes web project management, developing
Internet strategy, writing, design, strategic marketing, public speaking,
and networking, as well as many other talents. She has a true passion
for the power of the Internet to bring people and businesses together
that might not be connected otherwise.
- She is an active member of the Boulder Chamber
of Commerce. She was the 2005 chair of the
Brown Bag and Seminar Council, a member of the Membership Council,
a member of the Business Women's Leadership Group. She has organized,
facilitated and presented many educational programs for the Chamber.
- She is a sponsor and member of the National
Center for Community Relations and a member of eWomen Network.
- She is a founding member of ForBenefit, a group working to support nonprofit organizations.
- She was Vice President of Free A Child,
a nonprofit dedicated to preventing the sexual trafficking of
children a member of the Colorado Nonprofit
Association.
- She has developed and presented workshops
and seminars on topics such as Web Project Planning, e-Marketing,
e-Strategy, Networking 101, Cause-Related Marketing.
- She is a frequently featured presenter for
the Small Business Development Center.
- Her previous work experience includes Marketing
Director for a large credit union, Marketing Consultant for the
Colorado Credit Union League, Program Director for Colorado Free
University, and manager of a naturopathic healthcare practice.
- Through Mile High Pedicabs, she is a member of the Downtown Denver Partnership and the Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau.
- She is Secretary/Treasurer of the Denver Pedicab Association (DPA) and co-founder of the United Pedal Cab Association (UPCA).
